Hook 'em Horns tends to keep it's powder a little longer than In The Mood. Because it's shorter, and slightly less steep, Hook 'Em Horns is less favored as a first run on a powder day. However, you shouldn't underestimate Hook 'Em Horns - the snow that settles in the bottom of the Chair Eight basin at Loveland can be deep and very, very fluffy.

The boundary between Hook 'Em Horns and In The Mood is pretty fuzzy - it's all just one big open bowl.
