Timberline is summer fun! On Labor Day, the bump run was a leftover from Ski Team training, so the bumps were wonderfully consistent. Temperature and snow consistency were good, with overnight freezing, and midday softening - perfect "spring skiing." The "dirt" on portions of the mountain comes from forest fire lower on the hill, and some dust blown off of the volcanic rocks.
