The Kawasaki was a big step up in power from the Honda - It had 4 horsepower instead of the Honda's 2 horsepower, which meant it could top out at about 40 MPH - pretty fast for something with a very short wheelbase, 8" wheels, and quick steering. Took a real nasty spill on it at top speed once when it just got too squirelly on washboard dirt, and the back end hopped from side to side two or three times before bouncing up, hitting me in the ass, and sending me flying over the handlebars.
