Karl Kelman's Vehicles

Karl's Vehicles

Lancelot is a 2002 Toyota Corolla, purchased because we needed an extra car when Juliana's schedule became so complex in 2007 that she required a dedicated vehicle. Both Chris and Juliana liked Cedrick so much that the only reasonable solution seemed to be buying an additional Toyota Corolla. Lancelot is the third Toyota Corolla owned by the Kelman family, leaving it tied in popularity with the GM A-Body cars, Ben, Ayn, and Dino.

Lancelot's name is derived from it's status as a Corolla LE, which distinguishes Lancelot from the similarly named Cedrick, a Toyota Corolla CE

At $6800 for a car with 90,000+ miles, Lancelot wasn't a stellar deal. But, in 2007, a well-built car that's in the EPA mileage top-ten was selling at a premium. And, the complexities of juggling cars with our increasingly busy schedules placed a premium on buying a car quickly.
