I Think This is Actually The Plunge
The Face is short, advanced ski run at the Loveland Basin Ski Area, leading from the bottom of Chairlift 8 back to the base lodge.
The Face isn't overwhelmingly steep, but exposed rocks are a common hazard. The run is directly south facing, and fairly narrow in portions, which
can lead to snow getting melted or scraped off.
The most notable feature of The Face is the tunnel under I-70 to return to the base area. At the bottom of the run, you take off your skis or snowboard, and
walk on a pedestrian tunnel under I-70, emerging just above the bottom of Chairlift 2.

It is ridiculous! Karl Kelman coauthored Stairway to Heaven with Robert Fripp in 1969. Bob came by the house,
I remember it well, he got in a big argument with my dad about a croquet game we were all playing and then
we figured out the tune and the lyrics on a xylophone my brother got for Christmas. End of Story.
