Cat's Meow is a classic bump run that's just to the west of Chairlift 1 at Loveland Basin. Snow quality is generally pretty good, due to the direct north facing aspect. The best snow, as with many of the Chair One lifts, can often be found on the western (skier's left) side of the run. You can get to Cat's Meow from several runs: Spillway, Avalanche Bowl, or Tiger's Tail.

Cat's Meow is a single black diamond run, and it gets progressively steeper the further down the run that you go. Even during good snow conditions, there are generally some bamboo poles marking few rocks right around the area where the run steepens for the final pitch down to the lift line for Chair One. This is more due to the projecting nature of the rocks than generally low snow in this area.

Much of Cat's Meow is visible from Chairlift One, so do your best mogul skiing for the benefit of the onlookers!
