Chairlift Two is Loveland Basin's longest lift. It's a fairly low-angle lift, with a midway reload. Beginning skiers can use Lift Two to
access some fairly long beginner or intermediate runs. For more advanced skiers, chairlift two is primarily a "means to an end" - a way to get to the bottom of
Chairlift Nine - or Chair Two's midway reload can be used to access South Chutes or Tomahawk.
To some extent, the midway reload on Chairlift 2 duplicates the function
of the Poma Lift that runs parallel to Chair 2. Both lifts provide access to the bottom of Chair 9, both serve
Tomahawk,
Firecut,
Drifter, and
the lower portions of
South Chutes and
North Turtle Creek.
